Laserface Seattle was held at WAMU theatre, Seattle, United States of America, with more than 9,000 live audiences. More than 50 lasers are used as the main lighting, and a few lights for washes and blinders. The headliner for Laserface is Gareth Emery. Working alongside him and his team has brought a new light to me on working with international crew. Managing the time difference between them and myself has always been a big issue but we have managed to make it possible.

Laserface Seattle is one of the biggest achievements I have accomplished. This show consists mostly of lasers and I was assigned to be an Engineer where it consists of me programming and operating for the show-day. It took me 2 weeks to program all songs that the DJ will be playing and had to be run through timecode. A timecode programming is where the lights will operate on themselves together with the music. Overcoming the high expectations and felt as if I was representing my country.

With at least 10 DJ's performing on that day, playing with the lasers is highly dangerous to the eyes. But with the help of the production team, we rotate operators with every DJ. Different artists have a different vision and by adapting to their ideas allow us to be more forthcoming. With a different work environment, adapting to their style of work is crucial in creating a hostile environment.

Laserface Seattle was my last major event before Covid happened and by making sure I achieved the most out of every event. I am proud to have this shown in my portfolio as there is not any other show that has the same concept. Able to work and see shows outside of the local area has always been a dream for me.
